  Since I was pet sitting for my sis in law, my fiancé and I wanted to grab a quick bite for dinner. We went to Giovanni's pizza since we had gone there once before.  They have a daily special of two regular slices of pizza and a drink or 1 specialty slice and a drink for $5.
  I wasn't in the mood for pizza this time around, so I order a plate of baked ziti. The baked ziti was delicious with a marinara sauce with a slight sweetness and lots of ricotta cheese and topped with melted mozzarella. The pasta was cooked just passed al dente. Since we were eating there, they served the baked ziti on a plate.
  We decided to eat in the pizza place. There are a few tables to eat your meal, but probably not suitable if you have more than 4 people in your group since it's a small place.
  Service was very good here. We would return for another meal if we are in the area.

  Best pizza in the area.  Its all about the crust, the thickness to crunch ratio is perfect.  Not too doughy, but not too thin.  Best slice I've had since ive been on my long island 2018 pizza tour.  This spot is legit!!

  My favorite pizza place!  Every time my family visits Long Island we load up on NY pizza.  Yet we keep coming back to Giovanni's.  Crispy crust, homemade sauce, and perfect cheesiness.  I recently tried some the specialty slices on our most recent trip (eggplant & margherita)... omg!! Heavenly!! Highly recommend!

  I would like to rate this place higher because the specialty slices are amazing, however, I really hate walking in here. The place was just redone and it's even smaller than it used to be. The owner's family is ALWAYS sitting at one of only two tables. They are old and loud and they take the time and attention of the staff away from paying customers. Speaking of the staff, they are not very nice. They always have an attitude. The owner himself is also rude and treats his staff like crap. He spends all his time speaking in Italian to his family and yelling at his employees. The food is good but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. Pizza places in Long Island are a dime a dozen so go somewhere else and get a better experience.

  Good guy and Pizza is excellent and the service is excellent as well family and friendly environment
